Main Street America and American Express recently announced more than 500 small business owners from across the country as recipients of the 2026 Amex Shop Small® Grants Program. Each selected business will receive a $20,000 grant to support growth, innovation, and long-term success.
Georgia was well represented in this year’s list of recipients, with several small businesses from communities across the state selected for this national recognition. These grant winners reflect the creativity, hard work, and entrepreneurial spirit that help strengthen local economies and make Georgia’s downtowns and neighborhood commercial districts vibrant places to live, work, shop, and visit.

The Amex Shop Small Grants Program is designed to support small businesses as they continue to grow, adapt, and serve their communities.
